Level II: 8:30 - 9:15 PM
Practice Dance: 9:15 - 10:00 PM

The dance studio in the basement of the Cafe Vino Building at 1200 S College Ave, Ft. Collins

Drop-In: $6 (one class), $10 (both classes)
Monthly: $20 (one class), $35 (both classes), non-refundable
Practice Dance: Free With Class, $3 Without Class

Level I: This is a beginner level class, no partner required. However, we have students at varying levels attend. So, we keep things basic for the newbies, yet dive deeper into technique for the more experienced dancer. It is a good class to develop connection skills and get exposure to styling without having to learn a difficult pattern. Attending this class will develop the skills needed for executing more difficult patterns with a partner.

Level II:  In this class we introduce variations on the basic West Coast Swing patterns involving turns, spins, and direction changes. In this class we build on the basics to enhance your skill. We expose you to more complex patterns and show you how the basic skills learned in Level I still apply. No partner required.
Wednesday Night Dance Class - Beginner
The Wednesday night class is an excellent way to get started in West Coast Swing. At the beginning of each month we start the class walking in time to the music, doing triple steps to the music, growing accustomed to the slot, and feeling connection to your partner. From here we get the class doing seven basic West Coast Swing patterns over the course of the month. The class starts at 7:30pm and is held at the Fort Collins Senoir Center at 1200 Raintree Drive, just west of the corner of Shields and Raintree. You must pre-register for this class through the Fort Collins Recreator. On-line and phone registration is available. The cost is $39/person. No partner is required. Class is over at 8:30, and a practice dance goes until 9:00. We have people of all ages attend this class, and students have re-taken the class to further cement their understanding of West Coast Swing at the basic level.
Friday Night Dance Class - Intermediate
Fred and Carol Fuller sponser a Friday night dance at the Fort Collins Health Club at 1307 East Prospect Road in Fort Collins. The health club is at the eastern end of the strip mall on the southeast corner of Prospect and Lemay. Membership in the health club is not required to attend. West Coast Swing is the dance genre on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month. Dance class is from 7-8pm with a dance afterwards from 8-10pm. Laura and Jim are the featured instructors for the West Coast Swing intermediate dance classes. We have been formating this class to teach a more advanced pattern developed from basic patterns incorporating styling ideas to make the movement yours. Carol teaches a beginner class also at 7pm. Cost is $8 for non-members and $5 for members of the health club. Your first time is free. No partner required.
Dance Classes In Denver, Colorado
The Denver Turnverein Sept 2017 Jim and Laura will be teaching the Bridge to Intermediate Class
Laura and Jim are two of the club instructors for the Rocky Mountain Swing Dance Club, a Denver-based West Coast Swing club. This club meets every Sunday evening at the historic Denver Turnverein building at 1570 Clarkson Street, Denver, 80218. The club rotates instructors each month for the pre-dance intermediate class. Laura and Jim are part of that rotation. The class starts at 5:30 and the dance starts at 6:30. When we teach this class we typically format the class to introduce concepts the first week and develop them into pattern variations the following three weeks. Check this site or contact us for the next time we come up in the rotation. Click the above club link for cost information. No partner required.
